Aibidia is a Helsinki-built transfer pricing platform that turns one structured data set into local files, master files, country-by-country reports and operational transfer pricing calculations, with an AI research assistant on IBFD content, for in-house tax teams at large multinationals.
Independently scored, one dimension at a time. Every dimension is sourced, and we say whether a claim is published, reported, or estimated.
The vendor reported 100+ multinational customers and more than 7,000 business entities on the platform in June 2025, with named users including Nokia, Unilever and Dyson. Kemira runs operational transfer pricing for 62 legal entities in 40 countries, per its case study. The public ingestion API accepts up to 5,000 items a page and 2,000 pages per submission. Data collection from local teams is what strains first, by the vendor's own onboarding notes.
Aibidia states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification on its Why Aibidia page, and its site links an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate issued by KPMG IT Certification (checked 9 October 2026). The July 2026 release ties every transaction in a local file back to its source record, and TPDoc carries deadline tracking and an audit trail. No SOC 1 report is mentioned, and the Terms of Service give no accuracy guarantee and no audit defense commitment.
Customer stories from Trivium Packaging and Genan praise the support and Customer Success team, and Aibidia publishes a Net Promoter Score of 59 (customers page, checked 9 October 2026). Managed Services put Aibidia specialists inside the customer's TPDoc, and an Aibidia Academy training site sits behind customer sign-in. No response times, support tiers or service levels are published, and the praise on record comes through the vendor's own case studies.
Coverage is transfer pricing only: local files, master file, country-by-country reporting, value chain analysis, the German Transaction Matrix and Swiss CbCR, plus operational calculations. The vendor said in a May 2023 funding release that its taxonomy encodes rules from 150+ countries, and TP Aurora draws on about 30,000 IBFD documents updated daily. There is no provision and no income tax return, Pillar Two has no product page as of 9 October 2026, and TP Aurora excludes the topic.
Aibidia publishes no typical timeline. Kemira's tailored operational build ran through 2020 and went live in January 2021, while documentation customers such as Stockmann and Genan describe a quick, structured start (case studies, checked 9 October 2026). A 2023 vendor post names the usual blockers: outdated benchmarks, missing agreements and scattered data. Aibidia's data specialists or Managed Services can carry part of the load.
Aibidia says it ingests ERP data, naming SAP S/4HANA, and transforms Excel extracts with stored rules in Data Studio (Why Aibidia and Data pages, checked 9 October 2026). A public OTP Management API lets a finance stack push segmentation data, and Kemira posts entries back to SAP through robotics, per its case study. No connector catalog, no named Oracle, NetSuite or Workday connector and no outbound API is published, and documents leave as Word files.
TP Aurora is live and returns cited answers from IBFD and OECD sources, but it takes text only and excludes Pillar 2 (TP Aurora FAQ, checked 9 October 2026). TP Intelligence, the reasoning layer on the home page, is dated December 2026 for a first release on the vendor's vision page. Outside the product there is no MCP server, and the public API has two operations for loading OTP data.
No price is published for the platform or for TP Aurora, and Vendr's Aibidia page carries no contract data (checked 9 October 2026). The one thing in the open is the contract: the Terms of Service updated 9 September 2026 state a 5 percent yearly increase, non-refundable fees and chargeable termination assistance. Published terms help a buyer negotiate. They do not show what the first year costs.

Aibidia is a structured data model for transfer pricing with document generators on top. Entities, transactions and policies are entered once in TPDoc and reused across local files, the master file, the country-by-country report and the German Transaction Matrix. A separate module, OTPM, runs segmented P&Ls, royalty and service fee calculations and profit monitoring. The vendor said in June 2025 that 100+ multinationals with average revenue of 7 billion euros use it, and it states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification.
The catch is the gap between the pitch and what ships today. The home page sells an AI System of Intelligence, but the vendor's own roadmap puts the first release of TP Intelligence in December 2026 and the connection to finance systems in 2027. The AI you can buy now is TP Aurora, a research assistant over IBFD content that takes text only. Pricing is quote only with no public benchmark, the standard terms add 5 percent a year, and the public API covers data upload for one module.
Before signing, get four things in writing. First, the pricing metric and a cap on the 5 percent annual increase. Second, an uptime commitment, since the standard terms give none. Third, the export format for the structured data at exit and whether termination assistance is charged. Fourth, a clause that keeps TP Aurora prompts out of model training, because the TP Aurora terms allow it.
Jobs, mapped to how finance teams actually buy.
Entity, transaction and policy data is entered once in TPDoc and reused across jurisdictions and years, then local files are generated as editable Word documents. Trivium Packaging told Aibidia a file that took days, or up to six weeks with advisor reviews, now takes a few hours. Treat the 80 percent figure as customer-reported through the vendor.
OTPM builds segmented P&Ls, calculates royalties, service and agency fees, and monitors profit against policy targets. Kemira runs it across 62 legal entities in 40 countries and posts invoices and SAP entries monthly through robotics, per its case study. The November 2025 release added profit monitoring by trading partner, product line or brand.
Since 1 January 2025 German taxpayers must hand over a transaction matrix within 30 days of an audit announcement, with a 5,000 euro fine for failing to provide it, per Aibidia's product note of 30 October 2025. TPDoc builds the matrix from the same data as the local file, per German entity, for current and prior years. Check the output against current BMF guidance before submitting.
TP Aurora answers transfer pricing questions from IBFD's collection and the OECD Guidelines and links the source documents. The vendor says the library holds about 30,000 documents and is updated daily. It takes text only, has no internet access, cannot run benchmarks and excludes Pillar 2, public CbCR, CSRD and VAT.
Transaction Analytics, released 7 July 2026, flags material year over year changes and mismatches between what the deliverer and the recipient report. Thresholds are configurable and explanations can be documented in advance. Every aggregated figure in a local file links back to its source line items.
Aibidia's specialists prepare local files, master files, CbCR and benchmarks inside the customer's own TPDoc, so the data and history stay with the company. The terms require an active platform subscription for Managed Services. The 40 to 60 percent saving is the vendor's claim for its compliance offering as a whole, made on the TP Compliance page; it is not specific to Managed Services and no independent account confirms it.

Here's what it really costs: published rates where a vendor lists them, aggregated quote data where they don't, plus a path to your own number.
Sold per Order after a demo. No list price or pricing unit is published, and no public benchmark shows contract data.
AI research assistant on IBFD and OECD content. The vendor says pricing is fixed per seat; the amount comes from sales after the trial.
No credit card needed. The TP Aurora page gives 10 questions with full answers and sources; the vendor's separate FAQ page says trial answers are partly hidden and sources stay locked (read 11 October 2026).
Aibidia specialists prepare local files, master files, CbCR and benchmarks in the customer's TPDoc. Requires an active platform subscription.
Ordered through the platform and prepared by Aibidia analysts, with search strategy and raw data extracts included.
Applied at the end of the first contract term and every year after, per clause 7.5 of the Terms of Service updated 9 September 2026.
30 days of exit help and an optional further 30 days of data retention; the terms let Aibidia charge its costs for both.
Clause 7.5 of the Terms of Service, last updated 9 September 2026, has the client agree to a 5 percent increase to the fees at the end of the first contract term and every year after. Fees are non-refundable and owed for the whole term. The older version dated 16 November 2024, still online, had no fixed percentage: it let Aibidia change prices on three months' notice with a right to terminate. Negotiate a cap, or strike the clause, in the Order.
Aibidia's home page calls the product an AI System of Intelligence for transfer pricing. Its vision page, dated September 2026, lists the first release of TP Intelligence as coming December 2026 and a version connected to finance systems for 2027. The guided tour runs on a fictional group and sample data, and customers can join a VIP program for previews. Buy on what is live today: TPDoc, CbCR, OTPM, Data Studio and TP Aurora (checked 9 October 2026).
The TP Aurora FAQ states that questions are never used to train the model and nothing is saved after a session. Clause 5.1.3 of the TP Aurora Terms of Service, last updated 6 May 2025, grants Aibidia a license to use customer data, which includes prompts, to improve the service, including to further train it, and to share it with IBFD. The main platform terms of September 2026 bar AI training on client data without written consent, but their definition of AI functionality excludes TP Aurora, which runs under its own terms. Get the FAQ position written into the Order (checked 9 October 2026).
Clause 10.3 of the Terms of Service updated 9 September 2026 says Aibidia does not warrant continued availability and owes no compensation for downtime. Clause 5.2 makes the client solely responsible for backup copies of its data. At exit, termination assistance runs 30 days, data comes back in whatever format the product already offers, and Aibidia may charge for the help and for an extra 30 days of retention. Enterprise buyers should attach a service level and an exit schedule to the Order.
Aibidia's site navigation lists a Pillar Two use case, but as of 9 October 2026 the link leads back to the home page and no Pillar Two product page is published. The compliance page mentions preparing for Pillar Two, and the Data Solutions page mentions Pillar Two calculations in one line. TP Aurora's FAQ lists Pillar 2 as out of scope. If safe harbour or top-up tax work matters, ask for a live demo of that workflow before counting on it.
The Public OTP Management API on Aibidia's own host has two operations: an upload for multi-level segmentation data and a status read for the extract type tied to the API key (checked 9 October 2026). A failed upload must restart from the first page, and the recommended rate is one request a second. No public endpoint reads documentation, policies or CbC data, and no developer portal is published. Plan for file exports and vendor-built ERP ingestion in place of self-serve integration.
Scored on what an outside agent can actually reach: the documented API, how it authenticates, and whether the vendor ships an MCP server.
Exists: There is no first-party Aibidia MCP server. None is listed in the official MCP registry or on GitHub, and no MCP endpoint is live on Aibidia's API hosts (checked 9 October 2026). What does exist is a small public REST surface, the Public OTP Management API, documented on a Swagger page on Aibidia's own host.
Scope: The public API has two operations. One uploads multi-level segmentation data for a year, month and extract type, in pages of up to 5,000 items and at most 2,000 pages, at a recommended one request per second. The other returns the column mappings and upload status for the extract type tied to the API key. Nothing public reads or writes local files, master files, CbC reports, policies or benchmarks.
Turnkey: Admin-configured. Each call needs an API key in the X-DATAINGESTION-API-KEY header, issued for one extract type, and there is no developer portal, SDK or self-serve signup. A failed upload has to restart from the first page, so an agent needs a replay guard around it.
In-product AI: TP Aurora, launched on 22 May 2025 with IBFD, answers transfer pricing questions with cited IBFD and OECD sources. It takes text only, has no internet access and cannot run benchmarking. TP Intelligence, the reasoning layer on the home page, is announced: the vendor lists a first release for December 2026 and a connection to finance systems for 2027. The vendor claims TP Aurora cuts research time by 90 percent and that its March 2026 release improved answer quality by 40 percent on internal benchmarks; no independent account confirms either figure.
A founder letter dated September 2026 (the page was last changed on 29 September) introduces TP Intelligence with a guided tour on sample data. The vendor lists a first release for December 2026 and a finance-system connection for 2027.
The terms last updated 9 September 2026 include a 5 percent fee increase after the first contract term and every year after; the 16 November 2024 version had no fixed percentage. The page address carries a June 2026 tag, so the clause may predate September.
Three compliance features shipped: rule-based enrichment of raw transaction extracts, trend and reconciliation checks, and a step-by-step master file workflow with a new document engine.
The vendor says answers now cite four times more sources and arrive about 30 percent faster, with answer quality up 40 percent on internal benchmarks.
Aibidia announced a $28M Series B with DN Capital, FPV and Icebreaker.vc participating, to fund US expansion after opening a Manhattan office in April 2025.
Aibidia and IBFD launched TP Aurora, an AI research assistant that answers transfer pricing questions from IBFD content, with a free trial.
Aibidia does not publish prices, and no public benchmark page shows contract data for it (checked 9 October 2026). Every deal is an Order priced after a demo. TP Aurora, the research assistant, is sold on what the vendor calls fixed pricing per seat, with the amount given by sales after a 30-day free trial.
Two reference points help. Aibidia's Trivium Packaging case study puts the earlier cost of documentation at more than 10,000 to 15,000 euros per entity before the move to TPDoc. Vendr's public median for Exactera, a documentation-focused peer, is $25,000 a year (reported), but Vendr's page shows no sample size and the only product with a listed price there is a tax provision license. Neither figure is an Aibidia price.
Budget for growth after year one. The Terms of Service updated 9 September 2026 add 5 percent at the end of the first contract term and every year after, and benchmarking studies, Managed Services and Professional Services are priced on top.
The contract term is set in the Order. Under the Terms of Service updated 9 September 2026, fees are non-refundable and the client owes fees for the full term unless it terminates for Aibidia's material breach. Liability is capped at the fees paid in the prior 12 months, and the service is provided as is with no availability commitment.
At exit, Aibidia provides 30 days of termination assistance and returns client data on written request "in a format readily available in the Solution". A further 30 days of retention can be requested. Aibidia may charge for both, and it destroys the data afterward.
Documents are the easy part: local files generate as editable Word files. The structured model of entities, transactions and policies is harder to move, so agree the export format before signing. The terms also make the client responsible for its own backups.
Aibidia publishes no standard timeline. The clearest data point is Kemira: a tailored operational transfer pricing build ran through 2020 and went live in January 2021, with one common SAP system already in use in nearly all of its countries. Documentation-only customers describe a quicker start in their case studies.
Aibidia's Customer Success team and data specialists run onboarding with the tax team. A 2023 vendor post lists what slows it down: outdated benchmarks, missing or stale intercompany agreements, policies that differ by entity, and data scattered across local finance teams.
If the team is thin, Managed Services has Aibidia specialists prepare local files, master files, CbCR and benchmarks inside your TPDoc instance. In Italy, Aibidia delivers through an exclusive partnership with BIP Law & Tax.
Only at the edge. Aibidia has no MCP server: none is listed in the official MCP registry or on GitHub, and no MCP endpoint is live on its API hosts (checked 9 October 2026).
It does publish a small REST API for its operational module. The Public OTP Management API has two operations: one uploads multi-level segmentation data in pages of up to 5,000 items, and one reads back column mappings and upload status. Each needs an API key tied to one extract type.
So an agent with a custom wrapper can load monthly segmentation data and check that it validated. It cannot read or draft a local file, change a policy or pull a CbC report. TP Aurora, the AI research assistant, works in the browser only.
