EDICOM is a privately held Spanish EDI and e-invoicing platform for multinationals: it connects ERPs to tax authority mandates, Peppol and trading partners in 85+ countries (vendor figure), with VAT e-reporting, e-signature and archiving, sold by quote as a managed service.
Independently scored, one dimension at a time. Every dimension is sourced, and we say whether a claim is published, reported, or estimated.
The certifications page lists ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27701, ISO 22301, an ISAE 3402 Type 2 SOC 1 report, a SOC 2 Type 2 report and Spain's ENS at High level (checked 10 October 2026). EDICOM is an eIDAS qualified trust service provider, an authorized PAC in Mexico, a registered approved platform in France and an accredited service provider on the UAE Ministry of Finance list. It says every transaction is recorded and auditable, and EDICOMLta archiving logs each document action as evidence. The page names no auditor or report period, and no public contract says who bears the penalty for a failed submission.
EDICOM reports 1.5 billion transactions a year, 18,000+ clients and active projects in 85+ countries, and commits to 99.9 percent platform availability measured monthly (about and platform pages, checked 10 October 2026). It says 1.6 million French invoices passed through its platform in the first 21 days of the mandate (vendor-reported, 30 September 2026). Data centers are its own and run active-active. The platform page still cites 500 million documents a year, and no API rate limits are published.
EDICOM claims e-invoicing and tax reporting in more than 80 countries across clearance, real-time reporting, Peppol and post-audit models, kept current by an in-house regulatory observatory (e-invoicing page, checked 11 October 2026). Official lists show its own accreditation in France and the UAE; EDICOM also states it is an authorized PAC in Mexico and accredited in Slovakia and Singapore, and says HMRC recognises its MTD software. VAT e-reporting covers SII, SAF-T and myDATA. There is no tax determination content, and some countries are served through partner providers, Nigeria among them.
EDICOM's connector for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is listed on Oracle Cloud Marketplace and returns invoice status to Oracle, though it covers specific scenarios such as Peppol in Belgium today (checked 10 October 2026). Microsoft Learn documents EDICOM as an ISV last-mile connector for Dynamics 365 Finance in nine countries (updated 17 April 2026). SAP S/4HANA, Business One, Ariba, Concur and Coupa integrations are described, over AS2, AS4, OFTP2, SFTP, VAN and REST. Business Central goes through partner-built connectors, and the catalog lists no NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or Xero connector.
EDICOM lists local phone numbers for more than 30 countries and support in seven languages, and says any solution includes access to its User Support Center (platform and about pages, checked 10 October 2026). The 24x7 high-availability service and the Preferential Support tier with a dedicated team are described as services a client enrolls in or contracts. Managed Services can take over monitoring, partner onboarding and certificate upkeep. Independent review volume is thin: an aggregator counted 2 G2 reviews and 4 Gartner Peer Insights reviews (reported).
EDICOM runs implementation with its own consultants and reports 78,000+ consulting days a year (about page, checked 10 October 2026). It publishes no standard timeline; a Nigeria FAQ says a typical project takes at least two months on EDICOM's side. No self-serve sandbox is documented, and the about page says EDICOM declines timelines when its capacity is already committed. The Oracle Fusion connector and Microsoft's Dynamics 365 Finance connector shorten the ERP side for the scenarios they cover.
No MCP server exists: the public MCP registry returned no EDICOM entry and a GitHub search found no EDICOM MCP repository on 10 October 2026. A public reference documents the EDICOMiPaaS REST API (version 5.3.0) for publishing and retrieving documents with bearer tokens, which leaves agents a custom-code route. In-product AI is limited to PDF2Data extraction, and EDICOM's 28 September 2026 policy says it does not apply AI to customer transactions.
EDICOM publishes no prices, tiers or fee schedule; every page routes to a demo request (checked 11 October 2026). Vendr's public page shows a $30,701 median annual contract and states no sample size or update date; data embedded in the page, as captured on 10 October 2026, recorded 3 purchases and a last update in February 2025. French comparison sites name volume, country count and ERP integration as the drivers, and one says an entry point near 500 euros a month circulates with no official source.
Written by the Audit Friendly research team. No vendor edits, no sponsored placement.
EDICOM sells a managed integration layer between the ERP and each country's tax authority, Peppol network and trading partners. It has run EDI since 1995 and holds its own accreditations: registered approved platform in France (11 December 2025, DGFiP list), accredited service provider in the UAE (Ministry of Finance list, checked 10 October 2026), authorized PAC in Mexico and eIDAS qualified trust service provider. It builds its own software, runs its own data centers and says it takes no investment-fund money. Valencia Plaza reported 2023 sales of 219.5 million euros and profit of 124.96 million euros (reported, 16 September 2024).
Nothing about the commercial side is public. There is no price list, no published contract, no standard implementation timeline and no self-serve sandbox. EDICOM does not calculate tax. It formats, signs, transmits and archives what the ERP produces, so a tax engine is still needed where determination is the problem. The agent surface is thin: EDICOM said on 28 September 2026 that it does not apply AI to customer transactions, and no MCP server exists. Some countries run through partner providers, and the Oracle Fusion connector covers only specific scenarios such as Peppol in Belgium (checked 10 October 2026).
Get the country list in writing with the delivery model for each one: EDICOM's own accreditation or a partner. Fix the price per country, per document band and per ERP mapping, and ask what a regulatory change costs after go-live. Name the contracting entity, since France alone lists two registered EDICOM entities. Ask whether 24x7 support and the dedicated support team are included or priced separately, and get the ISAE 3402 and SOC 2 Type 2 reports with their periods before signing.
Jobs, mapped to how finance teams actually buy.
EDICOM France and EDICOM Group both sit on the DGFiP list of approved platforms that passed interoperability tests, registered 11 December 2025. EDICOM says it started the mandate with about 800 signed projects and sent 50,000 invoices on 1 September 2026. The platform also handles e-reporting and eIDAS archiving for the same flows.
The ERP sends one canonical data file and EDICOM converts it to each country's format, signs it and delivers it to the authority, Peppol or the customer. Subsidiaries get separate environments with a consolidated monitoring view. EDICOM says an in-house observatory tracks rule changes in more than 80 countries and updates the platform before they take effect.
EDICOM is an authorized certification provider for CFDI and says it was the first PAC in Mexico. It is also accredited for NOM-151 document conservation. A group with Mexican entities can keep stamping, validation and archiving with the same vendor that runs its European flows.
EDICOM Middle East Services appears on the ministry's list of accredited service providers. EDICOM's UAE article says the accreditation covers onboarding users, exchanging invoices and reporting tax data to the Federal Tax Authority. EDICOM also operates as a Peppol access point and says Singapore's IMDA accredits it for InvoiceNow.
EDICOM extracts ledger and invoice data, builds the file each authority requires and transmits it on the required schedule. It says HMRC recognises its Making Tax Digital product as bridging and digital record-keeping software. Tax rates and treatment still come from the ERP or a tax engine.
Orders, dispatch notices and invoices to retailers and manufacturers run on the same platform as tax e-invoices. The connector catalog names partners such as Carrefour, Walmart, Amazon and Volkswagen. That matters where a country lets an EDI invoice travel alongside the tax document, as EDICOM describes for Brazil.
Forget the 40-row feature grid. Pick a finance workflow and see how this tool and its closest peers actually do it, with our verdict on who wins for whom.
Here's what it really costs: published rates where a vendor lists them, aggregated quote data where they don't, plus a path to your own number.
Issuing, receiving, validation, tax-authority transmission and reporting per country. No list price; comparison sites cite volume, countries and ERP integration as the drivers (reported).
Trading-partner EDI, the value added network and the integration platform on the same infrastructure. No list price.
Outsourced monitoring, partner onboarding, certificate upkeep and incident handling under an SLA. Described as a separate service; no fee published.
Round-the-clock alert handling and a dedicated support team. The site says clients enroll in or contract these services; no fee published.
eIDAS qualified archiving with signature and time stamp evidence. No fee published.
EDICOM publishes no prices or fees (checked 11 October 2026). Vendr's marketplace page shows a $30,701 median annual contract and states no sample size or update date. Data embedded in that page, as captured on 10 October 2026, recorded 3 purchases and a last update on 13 February 2025. One French comparison site says an entry point near 500 euros a month circulates with no official source. Treat both as rough signals and ask for a quote split by country, volume band and ERP mapping.
The site lists EDI, e-invoicing, e-reporting, iPaaS, signature and archiving, and nothing for tax calculation (checked 10 October 2026). In its 28 September 2026 article EDICOM describes itself as a digital mail carrier that routes documents without analyzing their content. Its validations cover formats and authority rules; no page says they test whether the tax rate applied is correct. Buyers who need calculation as well should pair it with a tax engine or compare Sovos and Fonoa.
EDICOM's Oracle page says the Marketplace connector currently supports specific scenarios such as Peppol, giving Belgium as the example, and that scope depends on each implementation (checked 10 October 2026). Microsoft's documentation for the Dynamics 365 Finance connector lists nine countries (updated 17 April 2026). Business Central relies on connectors built by integration partners. Ask which of the countries in scope run through a prebuilt connector and which need a custom mapping.
The about page states that when decisions are delayed and capacity is already committed, EDICOM prefers not to take on timelines that would put execution at risk (checked 10 October 2026). No standard duration is published; the Nigeria FAQ cites at least two months on EDICOM's side. A buyer who signs close to a mandate date may be offered a later slot. Agree a named go-live date and the customer-side tasks that protect it.
A footnote on the platform page says that where EDICOM cannot be accredited in a country, invoice validation is managed through its network of partners and collaborators (checked 10 October 2026). The Nigeria FAQ confirms the pattern: EDICOM connects to the tax platform through an access point provider certified by the authority. The 85+ country figure therefore mixes delivery models. Ask for the list with the model, the partner's name and the liability chain for each country.
The platform page says any EDICOM solution includes the User Support Center, then describes the 24x7 service as available when needed through a high availability service and the Preferential Support team as a service that can be contracted separately (checked 11 October 2026). EDICOM's e-invoicing FAQ says it offers 24/7 global support and a dedicated support team for each project, so the two pages disagree on what is standard. Managed Services is a further layer with its own SLA. No fee for any of them is public. For a clearance country where invoicing stops when the link fails, get the 24x7 scope and its price into the first quote.
Scored on what an outside agent can actually reach: the documented API, how it authenticates, and whether the vendor ships an MCP server.
Exists: No. On 10 October 2026 the public MCP registry returned no server for EDICOM, a GitHub repository search for an EDICOM MCP server returned nothing, and no MCP page appears in EDICOM's site map or in its iPaaS API documentation. EDICOM's 28 September 2026 article on its approach to AI does not mention agents or MCP.
Scope: The reachable surface is the EIPAAS Server API, documented publicly at ipaas-docs.edicomgroup.com (version 5.3.0, with an exportable OpenAPI file). It works at the level of the integration bus: publish a document, read and confirm subscriptions, run transformations, search documents and read audit and statistics records. It reads and writes. It has no tax objects such as a return or a tax calculation, and the country scope depends on what EDICOM has configured for the account.
Turnkey: No. Calls need a bearer token, created as a user token in the EIPAAS administration panel or obtained through EDICOM Accounts, plus a datasource header that identifies the customer environment. An account must exist first, and no public sandbox or self-serve signup is documented. A team could wrap the API in its own MCP server and would own the build, the security review and the upkeep.
In-product AI is narrow by design. EDICOM says PDF2Data uses AI to extract data from PDF invoices for accounts payable. It also says it does not use AI to analyze structured invoices or EDI messages, does not train models on customer data and keeps specialists responsible for regulatory analysis (article dated 28 September 2026). No independent test of PDF2Data accuracy was found.
EDICOM says 1.6 million of the 8.3 million invoices exchanged between approved platforms in the first 21 days of the French mandate passed through its platform, after 50,000 on day one (vendor-reported).
The article says AI is used for PDF extraction in PDF2Data, that customer transactions are never used to train models, and that AI is not applied to structured invoices or EDI messages.
EDICOM's UAE article, updated 26 August 2026, says the Ministry of Finance granted it full accreditation. The ministry's list showed EDICOM Middle East Services on 10 October 2026.
EDICOM's Slovakia article, updated 21 July 2026, says the Financial Administration accredited it as a service provider ahead of the 1 January 2027 mandate.
The Microsoft Learn article, last updated 17 April 2026, describes the EDICOM integration for Electronic Invoicing and lists nine countries, including Belgium, Denmark, Chile and Singapore.
Both entities appear on the DGFiP list of operators that met every condition, interoperability tests included, with a registration date of 11 December 2025.
EDICOM publishes no prices. Every product page leads to a demo or contact form, and no tier, per-invoice fee or implementation fee is listed (checked 10 October 2026).
The one public benchmark is Vendr's marketplace page, which shows a median annual contract of $30,701, with the middle 80 percent of its reported deals between $28,336 and $36,952 (reported, checked 11 October 2026). The page states no sample size or update date. Data embedded in the page, as captured on 10 October 2026, recorded 3 purchases and a last update on 13 February 2025, so it describes a few small scopes at most.
French comparison sites say quotes depend on invoice volume, countries, functional scope and ERP integration, and one notes that an entry point near 500 euros a month circulates without an official source (reported, August to October 2026). Budget the integration project separately and ask for a price per country, per document band and per ERP mapping.
EDICOM does not publish a master agreement, renewal terms or termination notice periods, so every term is set in the signed contract (checked 10 October 2026). The site commits to 99.9 percent platform availability measured monthly and says an NDA can back the confidentiality terms.
On exit, the practical questions are the archive and the accreditations. EDICOMLta stores invoices with qualified signatures and time stamps, logs each download as evidence, and is described with a REST API. Ask for a written export procedure, the format of the evidence files and the cost of keeping the archive after the service ends, because legal retention periods outlast most contracts.
In France the official list carries two registered entities, EDICOM France and EDICOM Group. Name the contracting entity and the place of processing in the contract (DGFiP list, checked 10 October 2026).
EDICOM runs the project with its own consultants. Its e-invoicing FAQ describes analysis, development, integration, certification and then continuous support, led by a team assigned from the start (checked 10 October 2026). It publishes no standard duration.
The only timing on its site is for Nigeria, where a typical project takes at least two months on EDICOM's side and longer if the customer's team is slow to engage. Its UAE article says choosing a provider, adapting the ERP and reviewing processes can take months.
Prebuilt connectors shorten the ERP side for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Dynamics 365 Finance in the scenarios they cover. EDICOM also states that it turns down timelines when its capacity is committed, so book the slot well before a mandate date.
Only through custom code. EDICOM has no MCP server: none appears in the public MCP registry, on GitHub or in its documentation (checked 10 October 2026).
What exists is a documented REST API for EDICOMiPaaS, version 5.3.0, with an exportable OpenAPI file. With a bearer token from the customer's account, an agent can publish documents into a flow, read and confirm subscriptions, and search documents and audit records. It cannot calculate tax, prepare a return or change a country setup.
EDICOM's own position, published 28 September 2026, is that AI is used for PDF extraction in PDF2Data and kept away from structured invoices and EDI messages, with specialists reviewing AI output.
